@Holroy Sorry if I sound rude, but I took 40 minutes working on those pages with Herobrine. Anyways if E3 did announce that the stuff would be coming to PE, why should I take my time to consult an admin then wait a day for a response, when everything could be done much quikcer since it has been confirmed?
Okay hold up. If crossplay was added, why do we need to make sure the Console things are confirmed? Doesn't it seem VERY obvious everything from Console would be brought to PE? If they didn't add everything from Console to PE and still added Crossplay, how would crossplay work? Please answer that question.
Well, for starters HelenAngel is not confirming that all blocks are being moved/joined. Albeit she is saying implying that most blocks will need to be moved in order for cross play to exist.
She also says that for example they are working on ravines, but it's not guaranteed that it'll make it into 1.2, and that it is world generation and as such don't need to be added in order for cross play to exist.
In short, the only thing which is guaranteed is that cross play will become part of the Better Together Update. Which actually blocks or game mechanics or generated structures are added, remains to be seen. Claiming they are confirmed is at best educated guesses.
In addition it's the code base from Pocket Edition, aka the Bedrock engine, which is being extended and is going to be the base for the Xbox One X version in the Better Together Update, not the other way around.
In other words, everything they want to keep from the Xbox Console edition (aka the 4J engine), has to be reimplemented into the Bedrock engine.
Will most of it make it? Most likely at some point in time. Does most of it have to come in 1.2? Not necessarily, only that needed to make cross play work.
Listen to this. You CAN'T play unless you have the SAME blocks and mobs. Even Helen Angel said it. Also, I didn't say PE needed all of the generated structures, mini games, some features like pick block, etc. You just need the same blocks, and same mobs. Else how would it work? Think about this, what if someone's (Console) world had a lot of blocks and a PE player is playing with them? What are they gonna see? How are they gonna pick up the block if the block doesn't exist in PE? Hmm? Umm it isn't gonna work. That's why it was PRETTY OBVIOUS that all of the blocks would be introduced in 1.2. And then you're saying, "Well they don't need all of the blocks. They'll make it work some how." No dude, they won't be able to make crossplay work without adding ALL of the blocks. How is this not obvious to you? And they even said everything would come right below.
Hey Mario. About the new page you created... Regardless of the fact that I'm not sure if the feature is important enough to have a page, one should always ask an admin before creating a page. You should probably talk to Darth, Pigman, or TheVictorious if the page is important enough, and if it should be kept.
I know you have been on this wiki much longer than me, and as such, you are far more experienced than I am; which is why I'm not warning you, I'm simply giving you a suggestion.
Well, creating new pages is permitted as long as it is relevant and is not a copy of another page; you should judge whether you should create a page by whether or not you can add enough information to it.
